Mrs. Pamela Fahs To All Instructors
Pamela Fahs and her family have been part of the Spectrum family since 2011. She teaches English writing and literature classes, and each year, she teaches one year of the three-year "Life Skills God's Way" curriculum she has written to teach students life skills from a Biblical perspective. Since becoming an "official" math teacher this past year (teaching Algebra 2 to a small group of students in her home), Pamela is excited to teach Algebra 1 at Spectrum. She will also teach Rhetoric Bible and Senior Seminar this year.
Pamela has been married to her husband Thomas for twenty-nine years, and together they enjoy worshiping at Calvary Chapel Ellicott City and serving in the Elev8 Basketball and Vacation Bible School ministries. Pamela and Thomas have four children, all of whom have been homeschooled. Three are Spectrum graduates and graduates/current students at Grove City College. Their fourth-born, Quinn, is a rising senior at Spectrum. Pamela also enjoys serving on the Spectrum Oversight Committee and with Stagelight Productions.
Pamela holds a BA in Psychology from Duke University and an MA in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland College Park. Before having children, she worked as a child clinical therapist specializing in the treatment of infants and children who had been sexually and otherwise traumatized. Pamela has also coordinated and taught student leadership workshops for two Virginia school systems.
Pamela enjoys studying the Word of God and serving with girlfriends, spending time with her kids, reading classics, organizing, and napping. She also loves Christmas decorations, seasonal throw pillows, and hot tea. Teaching is Pamela's joy and passion, and she sincerely hopes for an opportunity to teach your children.
